Voter information

The 2026 General Election is on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The polls will be open from 6 a.m. — 6 p.m.

Other ways to vote

• Mail-in absen­tee bal­lots must be received by the County Clerk before 6 p.m. on November 3, 2026.
• Excused, In-Person Absentee Voting: qual­i­fied vot­ers may make appli­ca­tions to cast an absen­tee bal­lot dur­ing nor­mal busi­ness hours dur­ing the six (6) busi­ness days imme­di­ate­ly pre­ced­ing the Thursday of no-excuse in-per­son absen­tee vot­ing peri­od. Dates: Wed., Thurs., & Friday (10÷21, ¹⁰⁄₂₂, & ¹⁰⁄₂₃). Mon., Tues., & Wednesday (10÷26, ¹⁰⁄₂₇, & ¹⁰⁄₂₈.)
• In-per­son No-Excuse Absentee Voting to be con­duct­ed in the coun­ty clerk’s office or oth­er place des­ig­nat­ed by the coun­ty board of elec­tions and approved by the State Board of Elections. (Thursday, ¹⁰⁄₂₉ & Saturday, ¹⁰⁄₃₁)

The dead­line to reg­is­ter to vote in the 2026 General Election is Monday, October 5, 2026, no lat­er than 4:00 p.m. local time. 

You may reg­is­ter to vote in Kentucky as a 17-year-old if you will be 18 years old by the next General Election, which will be November 3, 2026.
