Voter information
The 2026 General Election is on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. The polls will be open from 6 a.m. — 6 p.m.
Other ways to vote
- Mail-in absentee ballots must be received by the County Clerk before 6 p.m. on November 3, 2026.
- Excused, In-Person Absentee Voting: qualified voters may make applications to cast an absentee ballot during normal business hours during the six (6) business days immediately preceding the Thursday of no-excuse in-person absentee voting period. Dates: Wed., Thurs., & Friday (10÷21, 10⁄22, & 10⁄23). Mon., Tues., & Wednesday (10÷26, 10⁄27, & 10⁄28.)
- In-person No-Excuse Absentee Voting to be conducted in the county clerk’s office or other place designated by the county board of elections and approved by the State Board of Elections. (Thursday, 10⁄29 & Saturday, 10⁄31)
The deadline to register to vote in the 2026 General Election is Monday, October 5, 2026, no later than 4:00 p.m. local time.
You may register to vote in Kentucky as a 17-year-old if you will be 18 years old by the next General Election, which will be November 3, 2026.
