WinCity Media looks to expand its board of directors

WinCity Media, the non­prof­it orga­ni­za­tion behind WinCity Voices, The Voices of Winchester Podcast, and more, is seek­ing ded­i­cat­ed Clark County res­i­dents to serve on our Board of Directors. 

If you are pas­sion­ate about strength­en­ing free, local, and inde­pen­dent jour­nal­ism in our com­mu­ni­ty, we encour­age you to apply. 

Board mem­bers are vol­un­teers and receive no remu­ner­a­tion for their ser­vices on the board.

We wel­come diverse appli­cants of all back­grounds, par­tic­u­lar­ly those with expe­ri­ence in non­prof­it gov­er­nance, fis­cal man­age­ment, bud­get­ing, bank­ing, legal, or relat­ed fields.

Serving on our board is an oppor­tu­ni­ty to make a last­ing impact on the qual­i­ty and integri­ty of local news, help guide the organization’s strate­gic direc­tion, and ensure that our report­ing reflects the diverse per­spec­tives of Clark County. We val­ue com­mit­ment, col­lab­o­ra­tion, and a will­ing­ness to learn. 

Previous board expe­ri­ence is help­ful but not required.
