Meet Michale Tate.
Mr. Tate is a quiet, good-hearted man who enjoys living on a small farm outside of a small town in rural central Kentucky. He enjoys knowing and talking with his mail carrier, the local librarian, and the female chief of police, who packs a pistol — and her uniform — beautifully. He can be an extremely reliable friend.
He enjoys painting and classical music, prefers a quiet evening at home perusing a copy of Skeptic magazine while enjoying a good glass of wine or a cup of tea. Yet, he’s civic-minded and concerned about the events of the day.
His business associates and peers highly respect Michael because he is capable and confident, carrying out commissions through meticulous planning, expert execution, and absolute discretion. He does not brag, even when he accomplishes the extraordinary.
Self-effacing, courteous, and congenial, Michael Tate’s company is enjoyed by almost everyone.
Everyone, that is, except those he’s been hired to assassinate. They, alas, don’t survive the pleasure.
