Volunteering with a Side of Chili
In February, we had a decent turnout for our Chili Fellowship for Great Backyard Bird Count as well as the Community Work Dance Party — including an inquisitive Northern Mocking Bird (Mimus polyglottos)! We worked on take-and-make kits to start perennial plants from seed. Distribution of kits will happen intermittently throughout the month. Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for latest updates!
Meet us out here for more Community Work Dance Parties on these dates:
Mon, Mar 16th, 3–6pm — Trash Pick-upMon, Mar 30th, 3–6pm — Perennial Plantings
More Benches Coming Soon — Now is Your Chance to Sponsor One!
Become an enduring part of Legacy Grove Park!
The Legacy Giving Commemorative Bench Program allows our supporters to honor the life of a friend or family member and provide an attractive and useful amenity to the park and its green spaces. Sponsor a bench and commemorate it with a plaque.
The placement of memorial benches is limited at Legacy Grove. Only two more benches are available! Bench donation cost is $3,000.

Do you create sustainable fashion? Your looks can walk our runway!
Last year, we hosted our first Sustainable Fashion Show and had five designers showcase over 20 designs during our Earth Day Celebration. The beautiful clothing was created using sustainable practices such as upcycling, thrifting, and repurposing. The result was an incredible show that inspired!
Are you a designer, crafter, or artist who works in fashion or textiles and would like to walk in our fashion show? Find out more and sign up here!
