Legacy Greenscapes is the non-prof­it orga­ni­za­tion com­mit­ted to the stew­ard­ship and man­age­ment of Legacy Grove Park, a sprawl­ing 30-acre inclu­sive and acces­si­ble park nes­tled in Winchester, KY.

In the past year, Legacy Grove Park has seen remark­able growth in its nat­ur­al beau­ty and the breadth of pro­grams and events it offers, and it’s all thanks to your unwa­ver­ing sup­port. We want you to know the pro­found impact of your con­tri­bu­tions on the park and invite you to stand with us again as we con­tin­ue build­ing this extra­or­di­nary lega­cy together!

Making Nature Education Accessible to All

Legacy Grove Park is proud to be the envi­ron­men­tal edu­ca­tion hub for Winchester, fos­ter­ing stew­ard­ship in fam­i­lies and chil­dren through hands-on Outdoor Education Programs. With your sup­port, 493 chil­dren attend­ed our 2023 Outdoor Education Programs, includ­ing our annu­al Earth Day Celebration. A total of 1,569 hours of edu­ca­tion were pro­vid­ed from spring through fall, leav­ing a last­ing imprint on the lives of chil­dren who will grow up to be bet­ter stew­ards of the earth and its invalu­able resources. Your sup­port made all of this possible!

Bringing the Community Together through Music and the Arts

The Legacy Nights Summer Concert Series was a rav­ing suc­cess in its sec­ond sea­son at the park. With an aver­age atten­dance of 300 atten­dees per night, our con­certs are becom­ing a vibrant hub of com­mu­ni­ty con­nec­tion and enter­tain­ment. The free live con­certs, delight­ful array of food trucks, and wide range of engag­ing fam­i­ly activ­i­ties are a source of joy and togeth­er­ness for Winchester.

Creating a Legacy for Generations to Come

Legacy Grove Park is priv­i­leged to have the most ded­i­cat­ed and pas­sion­ate vol­un­teers any non-prof­it could wish for, and your dona­tions play a vital role in sup­port­ing their efforts! Maintaining the park’s safe­ty, clean­li­ness, and beau­ty is undoubt­ed­ly a chal­leng­ing endeav­or, but thanks to the incred­i­ble ded­i­ca­tion of 109 vol­un­teers who have col­lec­tive­ly con­tributed over 750 hours of ser­vice, we’re mak­ing it happen!
