Our pro­gram has been help­ing mentor/tutor stu­dents in Clark County since 2006. We are con­stant­ly look­ing for more busi­ness­es to part­ner with our schools by pro­vid­ing employ­ees who can mentor/tutor a stu­dent for 1 hour/week.

Our Be a Man (BAM) Program allows men to vol­un­teer for 1 hour/month by meet­ing with
male stu­dents at Baker Intermediate and at the Clark County Preschool. They share life’s expe­ri­ences and hob­bies with boys who come from homes where there is no man’s influ­ence. 2 years ago, we expand­ed the BAM pro­gram at RDC Junior High allow­ing men to
have a pos­i­tive influ­ence on 50 boys in the 7^th and 8^th grades. This pro­gram brings 10–12
male guest speak­ers into the school through­out the year. This year, we added a new
pro­gram at RDC Junior High called GLOW, which stands for Girls Learning from oth­er
Women. This pro­gram brings suc­cess­ful female role mod­els into the school as month­ly
guest speak­ers to have a pos­i­tive impact on 20 girls in the 7^th and 8^th grades.

Our mis­sion is to enhance the qual­i­ty of instruc­tion­al ser­vices to stu­dents through the use of school vol­un­teers and busi­ness part­ners. We cur­rent­ly have 13 part­ners and over 90 vol­un­teers serv­ing over 1000 stu­dents in the Clark County Public School system.

pos­i­tive impact on even more students.
