I’ve formed a habit of taking early morning walks over the past few years. I typically get out as the sun rises, strolling around my neighborhood for about 45 minutes or so. It’s a routine I’ve come to savor, enjoying the quiet and solitude.
We live near McClure Road, close to a new subdivision being built across the road from ours, so I’ve extended my usual trek into this new development. I found the landscape cloaked in a thick fog this Sunday morning, blanketing our entire neighborhood. The sky appeared eerie and enchanting under this dense mist, transforming the familiar scenery into something ominous yet breathtakingly beautiful.
The walk led me past a pond situated behind some homes still under construction in the new subdivision. The vista before me was mesmerizing as the dim sun tried desperately to break through the smothering fog, painting its dreamlike imagery.
Overwhelmed by the scene, I pulled out my phone to capture the image.
Happy Sunday!
