Partners In Education seeks part-time executive director

Partners In Education is seek­ing qual­i­fied can­di­dates to fill the Executive Director posi­tion effec­tive July 1, 2026.

The Director will work no more than 20 hours per week, 41 weeks per year – gen­er­al­ly August through mid-December and January through May or mid-June. Starting pay will be $18.00 per hour. Mileage and par­tial cell phone reim­burse­ment available.

Purpose:
To direct and grow the Partners In Education pro­gram, con­nect­ing busi­ness, indus­try, com­mu­ni­ty orga­ni­za­tions, and church­es in part­ner­ships with Clark County pub­lic schools. To recruit vol­un­teer tutors/mentors for pub­lic school stu­dents to increase stu­dent achievement.

Job Requirements:

• Project man­age­ment and bud­get­ing experience
• QuickBooks knowl­edge is a plus
• Good com­mu­ni­ca­tion and pub­lic speak­ing skills
• Proficient com­put­er skills
• High school diplo­ma or equivalent

Job Duties:

• Oversee all pro­grams (BAM, GLOW, men­tors, etc)
• Speak to groups of all ages
• Recruit spon­sors and school partners
• Raise pro­gram funds via com­mu­ni­ty engage­ment, grant writ­ing, etc
• Cultivate rela­tion­ships with school staff, teach­ers, and com­mu­ni­ty members
• Promote orga­ni­za­tion and pro­grams across social media platforms
• Report on sta­tus of all pro­grams to the Board of Directors
• Report year­ly to School Board on the program
• Attend Chamber and com­mu­ni­ty events to network
• Develop rela­tion­ships with news­pa­per and radio for publicity
• Other relat­ed duties as assigned
