I first heard of Jim James when he sang on the sound­track of the movie I’m Not There (released October 30, 2007). When I looked him up, I found out he was a mem­ber of My Morning Jacket, a Louisville-based band. He has a pow­er­ful voice, and the band is very good. Give this a lis­ten, I think you’ll agree.
