Dutchman’s Breeches

The spring wildflowers are blooming and every week different kinds are taking their turns putting on a show. On one recent walk in the woods, I saw lots of woodland phlox, trout lily, and bloodroot, but only a single plant of Dutchman’s breeches blooming. A
few days later, I walked through the same area during a light rain and there were hundreds blooming. Spring is such a beautiful time of year in Kentucky. I hope you’ve been able to get outside and enjoy it for yourself.
