Flat Lick Falls in Gray Hawk, Jackson County, was lookÂing loveÂly after some recent rain. This is waterÂfall seaÂson in Kentucky and now, durÂing the spring rainy seaÂson, is a good time to get out and visÂit a few. Many of Kentucky’s waterÂfalls become just a trickÂle durÂing the sumÂmer and fall.
While some can only be accessed by hikÂing on a trail or have no develÂoped trail to them, this one is easy for almost anyÂone to get to. Jackson County has develÂoped a park here with a short paved trail from the parkÂing lot to an overÂlook of the falls, makÂing it wheelÂchair accessible.
