Terry Foody, RN, MSN, a graduate of Niagara University, NY, and the University of Kentucky, is a member of the Kentucky Humanities Speakers Bureau. She is the author of two non-fiction history books: The Pie Seller, the Drunk and the Lady: Heroes of the 1833 Cholera Epidemic in Lexington, Kentucky; and The Cherokee and the Newsman. She discovered Haggard's lynching while researching her second book.
